Newtown Park Playground*

Harmony Play Systems Park within Newtown Park has oversized, outdoor musical instruments for playing with sound, and accessible play equipment, including swings, slides and climbing areas.

HOPE Park/Big Springs Playground*

The park includes a wheelchair-accessible play area, musical play areas for different age groups and cool equipment for special needs kids and adults.

Wade Walker Park Playground
5585 Rockbridge Rd. SW, Stone Mountain
One of DeKalb County’s more accessible and inclusive playgrounds as well as one of the largest. Wheelchair accessible with a rubberized surface, mostly covered by shade. Accelerator swing, gravity rail and climbing nets.

Mayor’s Grove Boundless Playground at Piedmont Park

Mayor’s Grove Playground is a Boundless™ playground, which has sensory-rich features that allow children and caregivers of all abilities to interact with each other. It is an interactive playground that is accessible and fun for children of all abilities.

The Miracle League of Newton County Playground*
13501 City Pond Rd., Covington
This bright blue and green playground has wheelchair accessible ramps and a Sway Fun Glider, which is a wheelchair accessible glider where those with and without wheelchairs can ride.

Chastain Park Playground*
135 W. Wieuca Rd. NW, Atlanta
This playground has a wheelchair accessible treehouse, three giant “oodle” swings, outdoor piano and music stations.

Swift-Cantrell Park Playground
3140 Old 41 Hwy. NW, Kennesaw
This super popular park includes one of the largest accessible playgrounds in the state with 18,500 square feet of fun. It features wheelchair accessible ramps, a ropes tower, sensory stations, a wheelchair sway fun glider and a slide. Last year, an inclusive swing was added.

Acworth

Acworth Sports Complex Playground

Ramps allow children in wheelchairs to reach different levels, soft surfaces for easy swing access, adaptive swing sets and covered decks.

Logan Farm Park
4405 Cherokee St.
The playground is ADA accessible and has a rubberized surface leading to and around the swings. There is also an inclusive revolution spinner for all types of abilities to enjoy.

Patriots Park
1485 Kellogg Creek Rd.
This inclusive playground features ramps, slides, climbing structures and more, and the park has an artificial turf adaptive use baseball/softball diamond for sports fun.

Alpharetta

Alpharetta Elementary School Community Park
238 Canton St.
This accessible playground features a wheelchair adaptive swing, an upgraded trail surface with sensory elements and landscaping for a safer, inclusive experience. The playground is open to the public starting at 4 p.m. on school days and through the weekend.

Mid-Broadwell Park
1480 Mid Broadwell Rd.
Expected to open this spring, this new playground will include a standalone water play table just in time for summer fun. The playground will resemble a tree house and include swings, a toddler swing and an inclusive play area.

Windward Community Park

This playground has adaptive and inclusive elements, swings, walking paths and an open green space.

Atlanta

Atlanta Memorial Park

Atlanta Memorial Park playground has structures for all age groups as well as accessible surfaces. The playground is nestled beautifully into the forested landscape of this park and provides ample seating, hiking and natural play for all ages.

Boundless Playground at Wesley Coan Park
1530 Woodbine Ave.
Equipment for toddler, elementary and middle school-aged children of all abilities. Slides, bridges, crawl-through spaces and safe swings for disabled children.

Dresden Park

This 25-acre park has an ADA playground.

John Howell Park Playground
797 Virginia Ave. NE
Poured rubber surfacing and play structures for children of all abilities.

Keswick Park
3496 Keswick Dr., Chamblee
This park is home to a train-themed playground, where kids of all ages can enjoy many different play elements to help promote fitness like balancing, climbing, and swinging. This ADA compliant playground was completed in part due to a matching grant with Playcore and Gametime.

All Children’s Playground at Centennial Olympic Park
265 Park Ave.
Low-reach panels, skid-resistant rubber surfaces and wheelchair-accessible glider swings. The play area includes many multi-sensory play elements. Much of this kid-friendly oasis sits beneath an awning that allows cover from the sun.

Rosel Fann Playground

Soft rubber surface, wide ramp access to the top of the main structure, umbrellas, and shade.

D.H. Stanton Park
213 Haygood Ave. SE
Just south of Turner Stadium, this revamped park recently became an all-inclusive playground. The space has soft surfaces and several slides of varying heights.

Hammond Park*

Small, wheelchair-accessible structure with rubberized flooring and image panels with dozens of sign language words.

Sara J. González Memorial Park

Sara J. González Memorial Park is the first park named for a Latino in the State of Georgia. This park honors inclusiveness and cultural diversity while providing all-abilities play features and family-oriented greenspace. The park features ADA-compliant wheelchair access throughout.

Windwood Hollow Park
4865 Lakeside Dr., Dunwoody
Swing, slide and climb on a soft rubber surface. This park has two play structures; one for ages 2-5 and one for ages 5-12.  The 5-12 play structure has accessible ramps to the upper levels.

Two Bridges Park
50 Perimeter Center E., Dunwoody
This five-acre park features a 8,000-square foot playground that’s ADA compliant. Swing on the swings, climb multiple structures, and in the summer, cool off in the splash pad.

Ball Ground

Designed for ages 5-12, this playground has a handicapped accessible swing, as well as slides, a ball climber and synthetic turf surfacing.

Windy Hill Community Center Playground

Featuring the largest, continuous running accessible wheelchair ramp in the country, this  playground provides enjoyment for all kids. The inclusive playground includes climbing structures, slides and sensory panels, as well as a soft rubber ground for easy navigation.

Morgan Falls-Athletic Field Complex
450 Morgan Falls Place, Sandy Springs
Rubber surfacing and two paved walkways makes for ease of entry to decks. Various slides, net climbers and play cubes are mixed with moveable play panels and ground level musical instruments. The area is well shaded by trees.

Peachtree Ridge Park and Playground*

One of two playgrounds at the park, this dedicated accessible playground features interactive components kids can explore using sight and sound. The synthetic turf makes it wheelchair-friendly. It’s also covered by umbrellas for shade in the hot months of the year.

Bay Creek Park
175 Ozora Road, Loganville
This accessible playground features a music theme, along with a Cruiser, swings, slides, umbrellas for shade, multiple ways to climb and more. A few feet away, visit the unique playground offering older children and young adults an opportunity to test their speed, balance and agility skills with climbing walls, obstacle courses and more.

George Pierce Park
55 Buford Hwy., Suwanee
Features a solid rubber tile surface, ADA-compliant swings, a whirl spinner with straps and an accessible play tower that would allow a child in a wheelchair to access the highest point of the playground. Play on the slides, swings and multiple climbers.

Villa Rica
