Make a Tent!
This is a great, easy project that can result in hours of fun for your children. Simply purchase some string and tie it taut between two trees or poles. Then hang a large sheet across the string and secure at the bottom with some bricks or garden stakes. Once the kids get tired of hiding under their tent, they can decorate it with paints using sponges, brushes, and hands! (So you might want to choose a sheet that has seen better days, so you won’t mind it getting a kid-happy facelift). Or, suggest that the kids paint a big bull’s eye on one side of the sheet, then let them fill up their water guns for some target practice!
