Not sure how you’re going to pull off a holiday meal? Leave the cooking to the pros. Here are the best Atlanta restaurants open on Christmas Eve and Christmas; reservations are strongly encouraged. Or pick up some takeout to host the meal at home, without the stress of cooking.
Opening at 5 p.m. on Christmas, the Virginia Highland restaurant will have a buffet dinner. Try smoked turkey breast with caramelized apple and sausage stuffing and cider gravy, braised pork shoulder with roasted root vegetables and bourbon glaze, pies and more.
On Christmas Eve, enjoy the La Festa dei Sette Pesci or Feast of Seven Fishes, an Italian Christmas Eve tradition originating in Southern Italy. Try oysters, calamari, scallops, shrimp, halibut and more during the meal. From 5-10 p.m.
Celebrate the holidays with a three-course dinner at this farm-to-table restaurant. Enjoy low country she crab soup, wild mushroom root vegetables, lamb loin wellington, chicken confit and a seasonal dessert. From 5-8 p.m. on Dec. 25.
Inspired by “A Christmas Story,” this restaurant holds an annual Bo Ling Chop Suey Palace from Dec. 11-23 and on Christmas Day. Watch the classic movie, enjoy a special Chinese menu and more. From 6-11 p.m. To-go dishes available Dec. 25.

There’s a specific kids’ station, Southern Art classics, a carvery station, a seafood bar and more. Seating available at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. You can also order a signature pie or cake for pick up.
Celebrate with a prime rib special with truffle madera sauce and the full menu. A children’s menu with beef filet, mac and cheese, sautéed broccoli and chocolate cake is also available. Christmas Eve, 5-10:30 p.m. and Christmas Day, 5-11 p.m.
