Duncan Creek Park Playground

This shaded playground has accessible features including swings, cool equipment like small playhouses and bouncing platforms. It also has a sand area and a skate park.

Brinkley Park Playground
1270 Hunter St., Smyrna
The playground designed for ages 5-12 has multiple slides, swings and climbing structures and is shaded by umbrellas. A smaller playground for ages 2-5 offers shade from nearby trees.

Roswell Area Park Playground

This large park features natural shade and manmade shade structures. With two playgrounds for older and younger kids, this park is fun for all ages. Play on the gravity rail and interactive features, and don’t miss the outdoor fitness equipment.

Lost Mountain Park Playground

The playground at the back of this park is a fully covered structure with a variety of spinners, swings and electronic panels. There is another fun playground at the park as well.

Taylor-Brawner Park Playground

With shaded playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12, this park features entertainment for the whole family. Multiple play structures include slides and climbing structures, while you rest at a nearby picnic table or bench.

Morgan Falls Overlook Park
200 Morgan Falls Rd., Sandy Springs
This playground with unusual climbing elements has plenty of green spaces and overlooks the Chattahoochee River. Two play structures serve both younger and older kids with places to climb, slide and explore, but the spot where they all come together is the spider web, a tall rope structure that provides a climbing challenge. New to this playground, visit for the adaptive swing.

Riverside Park
575 Riverside Rd., Roswell
This gorgeous park sits on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. Kids can climb the mega tower that reaches 25 feet in the air and slide down three tall slides on the playground for elementary-aged kids. The gravity cube climber is also a fun feature, and there is a separate playground area for ages 2-5 with a shade structure covering the equipment. Another nearby playground has a green dinosaur slide and large dinosaur bounce toys kids can ride.

Cauble Park
4425 Beach St., Acworth
Overlooking the white, sandy beach of Lake Acworth, this park has a nature-themed playground that fits right in with the surroundings. Younger kids can swing or bounce on different play elements, and older kids will love the large jungle gym structure or the spider-like climbing area. All kids will love the giant, towering climbing areas and slides.

Webb Bridge Park
4780 Webb Bridge Rd., Alpharetta
The highlight of this 109-acre park is the river play water feature that flows next to the sandbox area. The playground has undergone repairs and replacements and is expected to reopen in May. Trees provide some natural shade.

Little Nancy Creek Park
4012 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd., Atlanta
This pocket park features a playground boasting fun play structures, including slides and pieces designed to engage the body to show kids how the body moves through space and against gravity. Wade through the creek for a cool down.

Noonday Park
489 Hawkins Store Rd. NE, Kennesaw
This park features two different playgrounds, both with areas for ages 2-5 and 5-12. Enjoy multiple slides and climbing structures, including a spider web-like net. Walk to the pedestrian bridge for a pretty view of Little Noonday Creek.

This delightful greenspace features a great playground with a roller slide, two-story slides, a saucer swing, climbing structures and more. Walk the nature trails to take in the beauty of the spot, and you might even see some wildlife!

Collins Hill Park

This park has recently renovated both of its playgrounds. The smaller lakeside playground for toddlers features a nature theme with trees, lizards, a frog and an alligator, as well as musical equipment. The larger playground boasts a domed net climber, an accessibility ramp, double and accessible swings and more.
