Paper Plate Chickens
By Atlanta Parent Editorial . June 5, 2014
Step One: fold a paper plate in half, stuff with newspaper to create a nice plump shape and tape over the edges to seal in the newspaper.
Step Two: tape on a cardboard triangle at one end for the beak and feather shaped cardboard at the other end.
Step Three: papier mache over the entire chicken and leave to dry. Just one generous layer of papier mache was enough for Molly’s chickens above.
Step Four: time for the kids to get busy with the paint.
