Mall of Georgia in Buford

Redesigned in summer 2019 to 4,000 square feet, the play area is comprised of three different zones designed specifically for three age groups: toddlers, ages 2-5 and ages 5-10. The area has interactive technology, educational elements and encourages active play. Features include a crawl path with LED lights, a cozy cocoon nook for kids, a jungle walk with moving pods, spring-loaded mushrooms for bouncing fun and more. Parents will also enjoy amenities such as charging stations and soft seating. In the Von Maur Court.

North Point Mall in Alpharetta

Children love to take a break from shopping at this soft play area. Kids have the choice of climbing (on an ambulance, fire station dog and a bridge), or running laps around the “street” in the play area. Parents can sit and supervise on the soft benches surrounding the area. Bonus for the grown-ups: this one has tables, chairs and a charging station. Outside of Von Maur.

Cumberland Mall in West Atlanta

Kids can get the wiggles out by climbing on the under-the-sea themed structures. This enclosed, soft play area also has a large TV screen, keeping younger kids entertained even longer. Near the Sears entrance.

Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw

Families flock to this 1,100-square-foot play area. Kids can slide or climb on cars, boats and planes, play interactive games and use the photo cutouts to snap a fun photo. Parents can supervise from the soft benches in the mostly enclosed play area. The skylights above make this area especially bright and airy. Just outside JCPenny on the upper level.

Avalon in Alpharetta

Mixed-use destination Avalon has an indoor/outdoor playground. The 1,300-square-foot squirrel-themed interactive play area gives children ages six and younger a space to play. A neat feature: garage-style doors are open in good weather and closed when it’s cold. Located next to Regal Cinemas and Kona Grill.

Plaza Fiesta

The large indoor playground features plenty of ways to climb up, slide down and run around in the towering play space. Visitors can also play classic video games in the arcade. Located next to the food court area.
