4 Things to Love About Lake Winnie Amusement Park
An amusement park dating back to the 20s, the area has been entertaining families since the pool was installed in 1926 and the bumper cars were first delivered in 1941. Lake Winnepesaukah has grown a lot since then, with the addition of many rides from kiddie to thrill, and even a water park.
Table of Contents
Rides for Big and Small
Lake Winnie is fun for families because it offers rides for every age. Kiddie rides include Bumble Bees, kiddie swings and boats, a train and playground called the Stay and Play Hideaway and more. Older kids and adults will enjoy the Cannonball Roller Coaster or the Twister ride. There is also a good mix of rides for the whole family like the carousel, Ferris wheel and balloon ride.
Water Park
One of the reasons this park is so fun during the hot months is the SOAKya Water Park in close proximity. When you get too hot after riding the amusement park rides, hop aboard the Coke Float, float on bottle caps while holding onto nets or one of the thrilling water slides: Twist-N-Shout, Zoom Floom or Soak-N-Slide.
