Dr. Alexa Dantzler joins Sandy Plains Healthcare and brings a warm, global perspective! Originally from Manassas, Virginia, she first came to Atlanta to attend undergrad at Emory University. After a transformative year in Haiti as a Global Health Fellow, she returned to earn her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and then completed her pediatric residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She is excited to be back in the Atlanta area, where her journey began.

Dr. Dantzler is passionate about preventive care and empowering families to build healthy foundations through nutrition, sleep, and physical activity.
