Atlanta Hotels with the Best Kid Friendly Amenities
Any hotel can offer a crib or help with babysitting arrangements. But whether you’re visiting Atlanta or planning a staycation near favorite ATL attractions, these Atlanta kid friendly hotels offer kid amenities and packages that stand out.
At check in, young guests receive a Little Fan’s Passport, which guides them through a scavenger hunt around the property. Members of the staff are eager to help kids navigate the hotel and learn about its different areas. At the end, kids present their completed passport in exchange to receive a treat from the kids’ menu or a prize from the front desk.
Expect kid-sized bathrobes and cookies at turndown. Also, kids can visit the on-site garden, with honeybee hives and vegetable patches. The hotel can also prepare personalized itineraries for junior guests if you give their names and ages before arrival.
A themed pink room is the ideal place to stay for a visit to the American Girl store. A special AG package includes personalized Very Important Girl check-in with a welcome card and cookies, coupon for gift shop snack, a doll-sized travel bed to keep and (on weekends only) a free viewing of an AG movie and an “everything pink” room.
Children 10 and younger receive an activity book when they check in, and all kids can borrow the toys, games and personal electronics in the Kids Closet. Parents can also check out nightlights, strollers and other kid necessities that may not have made the trip. A Family VIP Georgia Aquarium package includes free transportation to the attraction.
The Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center offers the Sensational Kids program, which welcomes kids at check in with an activity backpack. On the first night of your stay, milk and cookies are delivered to the room to welcome young guests.
The Omni Hotel at the Battery offers a special baseball package, with its close proximity SunTrust Park. It includes nightly kids turndown service with milk and cookies, tickets for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Park and other perks.
The Good Knight Package is ideal for an overnight when visiting Medieval Times. Families can stay in a themed room with Medieval Times touches, receive a keepsake item like a foam sword, and get two VIP tickets that include up-front seating, a program and a cheering banner. The hotel can help arrange additional tickets if needed.
The Ritz Kids program ensures little guests feel important. At check-in, kids receive a welcome coloring book, crayons and a guide to a hotel scavenger hunt. Special packages are available with nearby attractions, too.
