Slide into summer fun and cool off at the city of Roswell’s Slip ‘n’ Slide events on July 17 and Aug. 14 at Leita Thompson Park.
Bullseye
Throw a hatchet to try and hit the bullseye; the closer the axe edge is to the center, the higher your score! See who in your family is the best in this competitive sport at Axe Master Throwing. Children younger than 8 play for free with foam axes and targets. You can also book a spin art session so the whole family can get creative together.
Follow in the Footsteps of MLK Jr.
The Civil Rights Movement icon was born and raised in Atlanta. Take a self-guided tour of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, which features his birth home and the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church. At The King Center, see Dr. and Mrs. King’s crypt and The Eternal Flame.
