Rafting Adventures with Wildwater

From rafting the Ocoee to zip lining over rivers, you can find something your family will enjoy this summer at Wildwater. This first commercial rafting company in the Southeast stated in 1971. Expert trip leaders and trained guides will provide a great experience for you and your family. 

 


Pigeon River: Rafting on the Pigeon River is done in two sections.  The Upper Pigeon is more exciting and the Lower Pigeon is calmer. The Pigeon River Canopy Tours opened in May 2010, and is the only zip line/canopy tour that crosses over the Pigeon River with a platform showcasing waterfall views. Located near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tenn.

Ocoee River:  Ocoee River rafting is separated into three sections. The river is dam-controlled and has scheduled water releases all summer. Half day and full day trips are available depending on releases. The Ocoee Basin Zip line Canopy Tour is located 1.5 miles east of Wildwater on Hwy 64 and features nine zip line sections and three swinging sky bridges.  Located in Ocoee, Tenn.

Chattooga River: The park-like Chattooga facility has canopy tours, low and high ropes and multiple lodging options. You can book your adventure to include: rafting (half day, full day, multi-day), zip line canopy tours, kayak tours, whitewater kayak clinics, Stand-Up Paddle boarding and overnight camping. Located on the Chattooga River in north Georgia.
Nantahala River: At Nantahala you can whitewater raft, go “glamping” in the nearby luxury cabins or climb aboard a Jeep Tour. Zip lining is also available where you can experience the views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Located at the Nantahala River Gorge, N.C.
