Wow Weekends: Explore, Create, Play

Each Wow Weekend has theme-related stories, fun-facts, and one-of-a-kind puppets. Sat. 11 a.m. and Sun. 1 p.m.

Jan. 12-13: Dive into Jim Henson’s fantastical Dark Crystal world. Create a Little Fizzgig Hand Puppet, listen to a puppet-led Dark Crystal story time and learn fun facts from our Museum Director on the current special exhibit, Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal: World of Myth & Magic. Ages 8 and older.

Jan. 19-20: Create an Extraterrestrial Hand Puppet, try your hand at making a found object puppet, enjoy a puppet-led robot themed story time and take a new family tour that explores the Science, Math, Engineering, and Technology behind puppetry. Ages 4 and older.
