Journey Through a Whimsical Toy Land
As parents, Toys“R”Us was a mainstay of our childhood. Go back in time with your own kids to an indoor playground created by the same company. The new Toys“R”Us Adventure starts with a conductor giving directions to make a train car travel through a land of imagination.
Visitors get to explore eight rooms, including a life-size playroom that looks similar to Andy’s from Toy Story. Other rooms include a Big Bad Wolf room, a dance party area, a Paw Patrol experience, a jungle experience, a ninja room, and a snow room.
My son Clayton, who is 4, especially enjoyed Paw Patrol, which included a zip line, Paw Patrol Headquarters, and balls being shot out of a cannon to fight a fire. Any kid who loves Paw Patrol will want to stay in this room! Another favorite with my 7-year-old, Harper, was the ninja room, where kids can try an obstacle course similar to what they may have seen on “American Ninja Warrior.”
The snow room is also fun for kids to explore, but the tiny pieces stick with you for the rest of the day and could be in your car for even longer!
