Rainforest Adventures Super Saturdays

Rainforest Adventures features more than 40 puppets representing animals from the Amazonian rainforest. To celebrate the show, the Center for Puppetry Arts has planned special programs included with admission. All events occur from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Feb. 3: The Center for Puppetry Arts is throwing a birthday party for one of Sesame Street’s most iconic muppets – Elmo!
Feb. 10: The Center will celebrate Brazilian culture with a live demonstration of the traditional Brazilian martial art of capoeira and live Brazilian music presented by Axe Capoeira Atlanta.
February 17: The Center is giving away a Folkmanis Sloth Puppet. The three-toed sloth is another animal kids can look forward to meeting during the show. All patrons will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a chance to win a baby sloth puppet from our Museum Store.
Feb. 24: Educators from the Chattahoochee Nature Center will be at the Center for a presentation and paper snake bracelet activity.
March 3: Zoo Atlanta’s Zoomobile will be on-site with animals native to the rainforest to celebrate World Wildlife Day.
