The North Georgia State Fair

At the largest fair in the metro area, enjoy carnival rides and games, a petting zoo, pony rides, a children’s area and more!

Carnival Midway

This large carnival midway includes more than 40 twirling, spinning and fast rides for every level of thrill. Favorites include the Wildcat Rollercoaster, Georgia Mountain Lift, the Mega Slide and the Lolly Swing, along with new rides: Flying Cows, Aero Max, Carousel and Krazy Cars. Classic carnival games top off the area, where visitors can win prizes of all kinds.

New Attractions

This year, even more attractions and performances are added. The Off Axis Stunt Show and Keith King BMX Show will both feature incredible stunts and tricks. Magician Jay Mattioli will showcase family-friendly electrifying magic. The Amazing Bubble Factory features interactive, jaw-dropping bubble tricks. The ARCY Live Mural Experience includes large-scale murals during live performances.

Beautiful Baby Fair Pageant

Parents can show off their beautiful babies at this contest on Sept. 27, sponsored by Atlanta Parent! The judging is informal and the contestants may dress any way they wish: as cowboys, sailors, cheerleaders or in suits and dresses. Age categories range from 0 to 36 months. Signup begins at 6 p.m. the day of the pageant.

Live Entertainment

A covered arena guarantees concerts rain or shine. The Carriage KIA Grand Stand includes: 406 Freestyle Motocross High Air Tour on Sept. 24-28; Demolition Derby on Sept. 30; The Great Cobb County Government Pile-Up Derby on Oct. 1 and American BullRiders Tour on Oct. 2-4. All entertainment is included with fair admission.

Returning Live Acts

The Zerbini Family Circus features acrobatics, aerialists, clowns, jugglers and more. Meet sophisticated Oscar the Robot, light up with the Fireguy Show, and watch dogs perform tricks at the Ready-Go-Dog Show.

Petting Zoos

Kids will love getting to pet animals of all kids. The Eudora Farms Petting Zoo has 20-25 exotic animals from around the world. See a wallaby, a zebra and a lemur, and ride a camel. The North Georgia Animals Petting Barn includes horses, goats, cows, rabbits, llamas and pony rides.
