Ellijay is known for being apple country, and this fall festival celebrates their prize fruit. Watch the parade and take part in apple-themed activities. Oct. 11-12 and 18-19. Sat. 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sun. 9 a.m.-5 p.m. $10; ages 12 and younger, free.
