The Wardlaw School is a program of the Atlanta Speech School serving elementary aged children with dyslexia. Wardlaw children aren’t defined by dyslexia, though—Wardlaw children define themselves.

Wardlaw’s highly trained staff see each child, teach to their strengths, and support challenges with proven, evidence-based practices. Specialized in structured literacy approaches like Orton–Gillingham and Wilson, Wardlaw teachers individualize instruction while also fostering empathy, critical thinking, and executive functioning within a comprehensive academic curriculum. This foundation builds deep reading—the kind of reading that allows children not only to comprehend words, but to connect, reflect, and question.

From the moment a child arrives, Wardlaw prepares them for the next step and their lifetime, equipping them to move forward with confidence and to make the most difference in the lives of others. Learn more at wardlawschool.org.
