Brown Ledge is a residential camp for girls ages 10-17, offering four or eight week sessions, located on beautiful Lake Champlain in Northern Vermont. Our Freedom of Choice philosophy allows campers to attend any activity they want, when they want, for as long as they want. In this format, campers find plenty of time to learn, to have fun, and to appreciate being in a stunning location with their new and old friends.

For nearly 100 years Brown Ledge has offered a wide range of activities that run throughout each day and are staffed by specialists in that activity providing plenty of opportunity for basic to advanced learning. Activities include horseback riding, theater, tennis, archery, riflery, boating, swimming, and diving.

Campers live four to five to a cabin. A counselor is responsible for each cabin and they reside close enough to provide supervision and support. We are a tech free camp allowing campers to make personal connections without the presence of screens and social media.
