On site nature camp for ages 5-10 in the city of Decatur offers four uniquely themed sessions focused on Georgia wildlife and habitats. Each week includes small group playground time, nature art and crafts, wildlife studies with animal interactions, gardening and time with the chickens, hands-on environmental science, and active movement, including nature yoga or games. Campers can cool off at the river-themed giant water slide! Drop-off is from 9-9:30 a.m., and pickup is from 4:30-5 p.m.

Field trip camp for ages 7-15 explores Georgia with weekly themed adventures and activities, including hiking, ziplining, kayaking, whitewater rafting, caving, ropes tree climbing, paddleboarding, wildlife programs, and lake swimming most days at Georgia’s best beaches. Visit waterfalls, meet forest rangers, study stream ecology, or learn nature photography in unique, fun sessions. Drop-off is from 8:15-8:45 a.m., and pickup is from 5:30-5:45 p.m.

Now in its 15th summer, Outdoors More Nature Camp was formerly named Camp Scene Environmental Adventures, with the same ownership and management. A highly trained staff and expert instructors operate a supervision ratio of 1:7 on field trip camp, and lower on water days to ensure a safe and engaging summer outdoors with new friends, outdoor skills, and a love of nature! The cost is $380 for on site nature camp and $560 for all field trip sessions.
