Visiting the Georgia Capitol Museum has served as a rite of passage for generations of Georgians, and for good reason. On field trips, students learn the history of Georgia and its Capitol building, and the way that state government works, all while exploring Georgia’s working state house. Students engage in activities that promote critical thinking and examine the role that everyone plays in a representative democracy. Students leave the Capitol knowing that they can make a difference in how they are governed. Join us in-person or virtually for free. Call 404-463-4536, or email gacapitoltours@uga.edu for information about availability.
