My Cool World Summer Art Camps are creativity-filled ”art-ventures” packed with authentic global art projects & activities! Learning about the world through art inspires curiosity, open-mindedness, and appreciation for other cultures. Each session will be packed with fun, authentic experiences that combine cultural crafts, storytelling, music, activities and lots more to teach children about the wonders of a new country. Kids may create a paper mache painted Peruvian gourd, a Venetian Carnevale mask, colorful carp fish streamers from Japan, indigenous South African Morabaraba board games, an Indian batik on textile of the Taj Mahal, handicrafts for a Mexican market, and more! We will explore a wide variety of art materials and techniques that incorporate drawing, painting, clay, design, and collage while having an “art-rageously” good time! Culturally diverse music, videos, and sports activities add to the fun for a well-rounded camp experience.

Kids have a whole lot of fun learning about their world, and we think this is pretty cool.
