Dad’s Garage is an award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit theatre company located in Atlanta’s historic Old Fourth Ward with a specialization in—and special love for—improvised comedy theatre, or improv. The Dad’s Garage ensemble performs 52 weeks of the year for a total of 513 shows every year, including engaging and interactive improvised shows for kids, evening hilarity for adults (it’s totally worth the babysitter), and even celebrity events. Everyone deserves a laugh, and Dad’s Garage is happy to provide them!

Our week-long summer camps teach kids the basics of improv in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. Those improv basics—communication, collaboration, and resiliency—are imbued through laughter, games, and opportunities to try something new without fear. This camp is perfect for class clowns who want to perfect their craft, and for would-be performers who want to build confidence and have fun doing it!

Each camp session culminates in an improv show performed by the campers for family and friends so that you can share the laughs, too!
