Camp McDonald Day at Southern Museum

Established during the beginning of the Civil War, Camp McDonald served as a Confederate training camp for Georgia volunteers. Visitors will have a chance to interact with costumed living historians and learn about the experience of  army volunteers  The event will feature weapons demonstrations, activities and lectures by a local historian.  Adults, $7.50; ages 4-12, $5.50; ages 3 and younger, free.
