Check back every week for a new list of items. Too busy or not in town that week? Not a problem, you can view each week here. This week starts off with a trip to Mercier Ochards for some family fun, this week's summer movies and festivals. Now let's get started!

Mercier Orchards

Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge is definitely worth the drive if you’re looking for something fun to do this summer. This family owned and operated orchard offers a bakery, deli, and now produces in-store hard cider and wine. Mom and Dad will like the new winery area that offers you a chance to taste their home grown and bottled cider.

Mercier Orchards also offers children bakery classes (enjoy making pizza and dessert for Father’s Day for only $25 for the first child, and $20 for siblings. Reservations required) U-Fish events and an annual tractor show.

Their popular seasonal U-Picks include blueberries followed by peaches, then later in the season, blackberries, apples, pumpkins and more! Mercier Orchards is kicking off their Blueberry U-Pick on June 11th, weather permitting.
