Virtual Camps
Virtual School’s Out Safari Camp
Zoo Atlanta. This minds-on session will teach kids ages 7-12 all about the birds of prey – from owls to hawks – that live in their own backyards. 9 a.m.-noon.
Halloween: The Science of Pumpkins
Science ATL. Dissect pumpkins to see what’s inside and learn how they grow. Kids have the option of opening their own pumpkin at home, too! Ages 5-10. 11 a.m.-noon.
In-Person Camps
Visual Arts Camp
Spruill Center for the Arts. Campers ages 5-10 will explore art through a variety of mixed-media such as drawing, painting, or collage, and create one-of-a-kind artistic keepsakes. 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
Basketball Camp Fall Break Clinic
Rising Stars Basketball. Kids ages 6-14 will learn and practice fundamental skills and build confidence – a great way to prepare for upcoming tryouts. 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Tumbles Day Camp
Tumbles Johns Creek. Campers can play in the Tumble Zone and Indoor Playground, engage in STEAM activities and explore the gym’s obstacle course. Ages 3-9, 8 a.m.-noon.
Coach Vinson’s Columbus Day Retreat Camp
Holy Spirit Preparatory School. A day of fun and activities for grades K-8, including sports, field games, dodgeball, crafts and experiments. 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
School’s Out Culinary Camp
Young Chefs Academy, Sandy Springs location. Kids ages 5-15 can have fun learning the art of cooking and the science of baking. 9 a.m.-noon; 12:15-3:15 p.m.
