Bundle up and head outdoors to the Chattahoochee Nature Center for our nature-inspired tech and tinker stations sponsored by Northside Hospital.  We have Five S.T.E.A.M. themed stations where you can experiment and explore. Learn about Biomimicry and why it is important to engineering and to today’s inventors.  From snowflakes to feathers, igloos to trees, there’s plenty to play with while you learn at our S.T.E.A.M. stations.   These five stations include various topics and concepts such as:

· Insulation Station to learn about how feathers and other insulators work

· Catapult Physics Station where you learn about potential and kinetic energy and see gravity in action as you learn how pollen is released by flowers using natural machines

· Shelter Engineers

· Tinkering Forest where you can design trees while you learn about the value of tinkering

· Snowflake Math

· Also explore activities in the Nature Exchange: Snowflakes under ‘Scopes, Falling Snowflakes and Ice, Ice Baby


Now through February 28th. Included with General admission: $6 for Child/$10 Adult/$7 Seniors 65+/$7 Students 13-18/Free CNC Members & Kids 2 and under.
