Every year, Atlanta Parent Magazine hosts several family fun events around the Metro-Atlanta area! We best serve our readers by staying connected with the community and local events. With four signature events, we strive to provide a family fun atmosphere! Join us for the fun!

Family Block Party

Family Block Party is hosted every year at Mercer University’s Atlanta campus. The green lawns come to life with more than 50 fun attractions, from craft booths to a mobile petting farm, interactive sports games, pony rides, storytelling and much more! October 13, 2012 will mark the ninth year of this family-friendly festival! Be one of the more than 5,000 guests to attend. Benefit local non-profit organizations.

Talent Showdown

Dream of seeing your kid’s name in lights? Atlanta Parent Magazine hosts Talent Showdown – your kid’s chance to show his stuff! If your kid has a passion for performing, whether it’s acting, dancing, singing or something else, sign up to compete for a spot to perform at Family Block Party.

Camp Expos

Spaces at camps fill up fast, so gather all the information you’ll need at Atlanta Parent’s Camp Expo 2012. Whether your kid’s idea of a perfect summer is wakeboarding, rock climbing, ballet or horseback riding, you’ll find a great fit at the expo. There will be scores of camps to choose from at the expos, so come prepared with all your questions. You will be able to meet with camp directors and former attendees, as well as pick up brochures and watch informational videos. Cover Kids Contest

Think your kid is the cutest on the block? Give your child a chance to grace the cover of Atlanta Parent Magazine! In 2011, Atlanta Parent had more than 600 entries for our Cover Kid Contest. After countless “Awww’s”, 50 kids will be chosen and then narrowed down to our Cover Kids winners! Will your kid be one of them?
