Second Annual Autism Speaks Georgia 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Location: Piedmont Park Atlanta, GA: Start & Finish located near Charles Allen Entrance of Piedmont Park off of 10th Street.

Event Description: Participating for a cause that means so much more than just 3.1 miles, thousands are expected to grab their running shoes for the 2nd Annual 5k Run/1 Mile Fun Run in Piedmont Park sponsored by Cellairis. The race will benefit Autism Speaks, a non-profit organization dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Register to walk or run with proceeds benefiting Autism Speaks at Preregistration is recommended but onsite registration will be available. Race begins at 9 a.m. with awards and children’s activities ending at noon. Donations can be made online towards race teams. Race groups are encouraged to dress up and show their spirit! Enjoy music, children’s activities, sponsor booths and Autism Speaks related information and merchandise.

Price: $35 on or before 10/20; $40 after 10/20--- $15 for walkers (walkers do not receive timing chip)
