General Contest Rules

GENERAL CONTEST RULES-ATLANTA PARENT

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

One winner per household per 30 days. Winners must be 18 or older. Winners may have no affiliation with Atlanta Parent, Inc. or its employees.

1. HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST
a. Follow the links and instructions to enter and submit the online entry form. Only one internet entry per email address is permitted per contest. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of Atlanta Parent Magazine and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Atlanta Parent Magazine. Atlanta Parent Magazine’s computer is the official time keeping device for giveaways and contests. Atlanta Parent Magazine is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. Contests open to all persons who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Atlanta Parent Magazine, their advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other media companies in the Atlanta metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and or households are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Contest administered by Atlanta Parent Magazine and winners may only win once every 30 day period.
c. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and Atlanta Parent Magazine will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Atlanta Parent Magazine will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Atlanta Parent Magazine will also delete any entry received from ineligible persons in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
d. All prizes must be picked up at Atlanta Parent Magazine, 2346 Perimeter Park Drive, Atlanta, GA 30341.

3. SELECTION OF WINNERS
a. Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after 24 hours, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If we cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
b. Decisions of Contest Entities management with respect to the Contest are final.
c. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED
d. We reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
e. In voting contests, votes must be submitted from genuine friends and followers – we reserve the right to disqualify entrants if suspected voting fraud has been committed.

Entrants further grant to us the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

We reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright protected. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

We are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.

This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
