Walt Mussell resides in Buford with his wife, Mo, and their two kids, Andrew and Christopher. Born and raised in the South, he spent four years in Japan, meeting his wife there. They lived nearly 12 years in Portland, Oregon, before moving to the area in early 2006. The blog will focus on a father's perspective in raising two elementary school age boys, one of whom is a special needs child.

Shifrah Combiths is a freelance writer from San Francisco, CA who attended UC Berkeley and moved to Atlanta after getting married in mid-2007. Still new to the South, Shifrah continues to enjoy acclimating to her new home, new life, and new family. She and her husband, Daniel (and their two adorable cats, Sasha and Clara) are happily expecting their first child in December.

Cara Fox lives in Smyrna and is the mom of 3 and 4 year old boys, expecting another boy in August.  She also blogs at The Fox Factor and for Deep South Moms. In her "free" time, she works part-time as a non-profit administrator and nurses an addiction to volunteering for several community organizations. Cara's blog focuses on lessons learned during her Crash Course in Parenting, which she began after having two boys 17 months apart. Cara has a personal blog at foxfactors.blogspot.com that focuses on the antics of her boys - it has a heavy grandparent following. She's also writing a book with her best friend. The topic: tips for parenting kids less than 2 years apart!

The Lillys in Bloom

Adriane Lilly works as a paralegal in Midtown Atlanta. She is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a Bachelor's in English, which she utilizes by writing for several blogs and pretending to be mentally culminating the next Great American Novel. She and her husband, Justin, are learning to be parents one day at a time from their amazing daughter Roxanne, who was born on December 19, 2007.  And no, she's not named for that song by the Police.  They are sincerely hopeful that by the time Roxanne hits kindergarten, no one will remember that song anymore.  If not, she's more than welcome to pick a nickname.
