Atlanta Parent’s Family Festival

 

Atlanta Parent Magazine is excited to announce that Family Block Party is now Atlanta Parent's Family Festival! Saturday, October 10th, 2015 will be our 12th year of the festival and we can't wait to have you attend. Hours are from 10am- 4pm at the beautiful Mercer University Atlanta Campus.

The festival features more than 50 exciting family-friendly activities, live entertainment including performers, storytelling, and local groups, food, interactive exhibits and more!

The 2015 festivals admission helps to benefit local non-profit organizations- Georgia Center for Child Advocacy and Page Turners Make Great Learners. The festival attracts an estimated 5,000 guests throughout the event.

Family Festival promotes fun with your family and focuses on community involvement. It is supported by over 250 local volunteers, individuals and groups. A variety of outrageously fun family activities create plenty of smiles and laughter! Craft booths, huge toddler play area, mobile petting farm, interactive sports games, inflatable play ground, pony rides, live music and continuous storytelling are just some fun activities Family Festival has to offer festival goers. No matter if the kids are big or small; the entire family will love this special fall day of fun.

Benefits local non-profit organizations!

 Each year a portion of the Family Festival proceeds are given to these organizations, which also have the opportunity to relay their message to the community at Family Festival. Each beneficiary will have a booth at the festival where they will host an interactive activity and share information on their organization.  Our 2015 beneficiaries include Georgia Center for Child Advocacy and Page Turners Make Great Learners.

 

For our non-profit organizations, the partnership will include advertising and an editorial focus in Atlanta Parent Magazine in our Community Corner and Festival Guide. Additional exposure logo treatment in the East Cobber, WSB Family 2 Family, 20,000 Flyers and additional media to be announced. Beneficiaries will also raise awareness to more than 5,000 Atlanta families at the event and more than 200,000 Atlanta Parent readers.

 

Atlanta Parent Magazine is celebrating its 12th year with Family Festival located at Mercer University’s Atlanta Campus on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Atlanta Parent’s Family Festival features storytelling, more than 50 hands-on activities, inflatable’s, train rides, Trick or Treat Street, live entertainment and much, much more!
