Find a colorful use for an old sheet and keep the kids busy for hours.

You’ll need: An old sheet, tempera paints, brushes, sponges, a hose and stakes.
Directions: Make a “canvas” by hanging an old sheet on a clothesline or over a fence, and securing the bottom corners with wooden stakes or screwdrivers. You can soak the sheet with a hose or leave it dry. Your child can use sponges, paintbrushes and his fingers to create a masterpiece. Once the artwork is finished, simply hose it down to create a new canvas so he can start again.
