Carl Miller Park at Newnan Utilities
Sewell Road, Newnan
About a 30-minute drive from Atlanta is a supreme
playground destination where you and your kids can
play the day away. Newnan Utilities’ Carl Miller
Park is the place, and its 12 acres are sure to
please the whole family.
This playground, known as Kids Kastle Park, is great
for imaginative children; the many forts and
playhouses are great for making up superhero games.
There are also cars, boats, trucks and airplanes for
kids to play in, on and around by themselves or with
others. Wooden drums and xylophones will keep your
musically inclined children busy while the more
active ones enjoy the swings, bridges and climbing
areas that complete this 32,000-square-foot
playground.
The Pre-School Playground is a bit smaller than Kids
Kastle and has a rubberized floor to prevent
boo-boos. It also has toddler-sized equipment so the
younger ones can have just as much fun as the older
kids.
On those last few really hot days, let your kids
enjoy the in-ground sprinkler. Kids can run through
it or just stand under it and get soaked – either
way they’ll cool off and have fun at the same time.
