Laurel Park
151 Manning Road, Marietta

Whether your kids love slides, swings or climbing features, they’ll have a ball at Laurel Park’s playground.

Joan Good of Marietta’s four kids, ages 3 to 13, all enjoy the playground. “It’s fun for everybody. It’s big, there is lots to do and it usually isn’t that crowded,” she said.

The playground’s most popular feature is the glider. Children can grab the handle and zip between two platforms. “There’s usually a really long line; kids just beg to go on,” Good said.

A variety of other fun features include seven slides, various monkey bars, climbing features and other activities, all connected by paths and tunnels. There’s also a separate structure for tots and a set of eight swings.

Wrap up your fun by visiting the lake directly behind the playground. You can feed the ducks or take in the view from one of the park benches.
