Ronald Reagan
Park
2777 Five Forks Trickum Road, Lawrenceville
What makes this 25-acre park so special is that
it’s designed so everyone from Grandma to Fido can
have a great time. It’s truly a family friendly
playground that children will love and amenities for
the rest of the family to enjoy.
Little
and big kids alike will enjoy running back and forth
on the playground’s four separate “zones.” Set on a
cushiony bed of woodchips, the zones are made of
plastic and metal in bright turquoise, violet and
blue. There are nine different slides – two large
twisting “tunnel style”, three “wave style” and four
shorter ones.
This playground is not just made up of slides. It
has lots of fun features like monkey bars, tunnels,
ladders and even a plastic running wheel. There are
“driving wheels” for wannabe racecar drivers, some
with pictures of a speedometer and other buttons.
For mental exercise, kids can try the two puzzles
with rotating plastic pieces – one is an animal
matching game and the other features pictures of
states and their capitals. Chatty Cathys can have
conversations on the “telephones” that are also
stationed on opposite ends of the playground area.
