Behind the Scenes at Turner Field

If you’ve been to a Braves game, you probably think – why tour Turner Field? Well, to see places like the press box and the Braves locker room, of course..

The tour begins in the Braves museum, which you can visit before or after the tour. From there your guide will take you to some familiar areas such as the Coca-Cola Skyfield with its bird’s eye view of the stadium and downtown.

Then, the tour really gets going. Enter the exclusive Golden Moon Casino level to visit a private suite and see how the VIP guests enjoy a game in air-conditioned comfort. Next stop is the press box; here are the radio and TV booths, and the print journalists’ room.

From there descend into the depths of the stadium. A short walk leads to the Braves team clubhouse, with a peek into the training room and the locker room. Head out the tunnel into the visitor’s dugout and get a true ground-level view of the field.

Walking back to the museum is a final stop to peer into the visitor’s bullpen. Throughout the tour a friendly guide tells the stadium’s features, some history of the Braves and its players, and probably a tall tale or two. It’s a great activity for baseball lovers, both young and old – you’ll never see Turner Field the same way.
