Summer at the Library

Don’t let the kids waste the lazy, dog-days of summer in front of the TV. With a full slate of fun and interactive programs, kids can “Catch the Reading Bug” at their local library throughout the summer. The following list is a sampling of events. Check out your system’s website for a full calendar of events. Be sure to register early for these free summer reading events.

Atlanta-Fulton County

Catch the Reading Bug: Bug Man Billy motivates kids to read during the summer through a fast-paced, entertaining mix of puppetry, magic, storytelling and interactive videos. July 1. 10 a.m. July 9. 2:30 p.m. Mechanicsville Branch Library.
