All Aboard! Thomas the Train Entices Tykes to Six Flags

Toddlers are now cleared to board their favorite train – Thomas the Tank Engine – and explore the magical Island of Sodor at Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell.
Nestled in the back of the park, Thomas Town features a themed playground and a soft play area with plastic replicas of Harold the Helicopter and Bertie the Bus to climb on. Parents can relax and watch children play in several covered areas with benches. Also, guests get to meet Sir Topham Hatt and take photos as he makes regular appearances throughout the day.

The highlight of the visit is taking a ride (or two or three) with Thomas himself, pulling riders in his favorite passenger cars Annie and Clarabel. Departing from Knapford Station, passengers travel around the Island of Sodor and see Cranky the Crane and Tidmouth Shed. Children should be 48 inches tall to ride alone, but children of all sizes may ride if accompanied by an adult.

After the ride, guests can explore the air-conditioned store and test some toys at the Thomas the Train table.

Concessions and restrooms are located outside the entrance to Thomas Town.
There are plenty of rides and attractions for the whole family to enjoy throughout the park, so plan to spend the whole day.
