Three Bears Café
What’s on the menu: The eclectic menu has a bear-like
feel with homemade jams, whole-grain breads and fresh berries.
Breakfast is served all day at Three Bears Café, with a huge
menu for lunch and dinner too. Waffles, breakfast sandwiches and
make-your-own omelets for breakfast; sandwiches, salads and
wraps for lunch; and appetizers like fried green tomatoes, chips
with pineapple salsa and black bean cakes can please the wildest
palates at dinner.
Why your kids will like it: It feels cozy like a bear’s
den and is comfortable for the kids. Tiny bear figures rest atop
picture frames throughout the restaurant, creating a fun find-it
game for little ones. The bear-shaped bottles, filled with syrup
to accompany the apple-buckwheat pancakes or fresh-made jam for
the PB&J sandwich, are the perfect size for little hands,
letting kids help themselves.
Why parents will like it: The prices are reasonable:
$2 for a breakfast sandwich, $4.25 for kids’ meals, and
$6-$8 per adult lunch entrée. The healthy choices like turkey
bacon, waffles with fresh fruit and flavored iced tea are a true
treat for adults. Sweet potato french fries, fresh fruit or
homemade baked potato chips are offered as kids’ side dishes.
Located on the Marietta Square, the Three Bears Café just might
be a terrific eatery for your little grizzlies.
