Lake Horton Playground

Features: Lake Horton Park is located on Fayette County’s newest and largest reservoir and has a beautiful view of the water. The two-level play area will keep your children entertained with plenty of ways to crawl, climb, slide and play. Toddlers can play with two steering wheels, one located on each level. Little ones will especially enjoy the steering wheel on the lower level because it also has a handle for them to shift into different gears. Children can race down single and double slides and crawl through two horizontal tunnels. Next to the play area is a climbing wall with several steps to guide the way to the top. It also has three large holes kids can crawl through to the other side. Plus, the playground has lots of ladders for kids to travel up and down the structure.

Amenities: Ample parking is available in front of the playground. Parents can sit on one of three benches right outside the play area or in the shade under the nearby picnic pavilion. Restrooms and drinking fountains are located behind the playground.

Directions: Lake Horton Park is located on Antioch Road, just 10 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. From I-75 South, take Exit 237-A and head south on Highway 85. Make a left on Highway 92 then make a right on the Highway 92 Connector. Make another right on Antioch Road and follow the signs to the park entrance. Pass through the park gates and keep straight to go to the South Loop where the playground is located.
