Fizzy Fun at the
World of Coke

Step into the World of Coke, which this summer opened its new doors next to the Georgia Aquarium. The company that created the fizzy concoction 121 years ago still mesmerizes parents and kids alike today.

Once inside the World of Coke, you’ll view a short animated film, which kids might recall seeing as part of a television commercial. After the film, the screen lifts and the doors open behind it to usher you into the exhibition area. Coke’s iconic Polar Bear sits in the center, big and burly and ready to have his photo taken with guests.

Learn the history of the soft drink and the company, while kids enjoy the interactive games built into the exhibition areas. The bottling area gives kids a view of the machines used to produce the soft drink at the company’s bottling plants. The Secret Formula 4D theater offers visitors Disney-style entertainment. The special effects might make your child reach out to touch the floating objects – or sink deeper into the seat.

Then enter the area that the kids had waited for – tasting all the different types of soft drinks from around the world. Each station is labeled by continent. With interesting names and unique flavors, some beverages my kids would rather never taste again, and others kept them going back for more.

Twice the size of its old facility, World of Coke continues to bring people of all generations together to learn its history, understand its mission and share an insider’s perspective of the past and present world of Coke.
