Animals Rule at Stone Mountain Park!One-day All Attractions Pass: Adults, $24; children, $19
On a recent visit to Stone Mountain Park with my nieces and nephews, ranging in age from 4-12, I realized how much there is to do at the park. In a day’s time, we managed to see a few shows, take on the adventure course, ride the train, play in the Great Barn and squeeze in a meal. There is no way you can do everything in one day! Make a plan before you go, so you can experience the things you are really excited about. With the Animal Planet Summer Adventure shows ending August 5, they should be a priority. If you start at the Antebellum Plantation, kids can pet the animals in their natural state before they get to see the trained ones in the entertaining live shows. There are six shows to enjoy, all in or near Crossroads, so between them you can experience the other attractions. P.S. Purchase a Mountain Membership. Each pass is good for a year, and includes admission to all the park’s basic attractions. – Liz White Go to Calendar Home Page – View Previous Out and About Articles |
