Mountain Park Park

Features: Two play structures – one specifically for toddlers – and a play field welcome kids and parents to the playground at Mountain Park Park. Twisty-turn slides – including two double slides (one on each apparatus), climbing bars and multiple levels to explore will keep your kids exploring. The covered sandbox is always a big hit, as are both sets of swings – one with seats made just for the littlest ones.

Amenities: The playground is adjacent to the recreational facilities at Mountain Park Park, so there’s plenty of parking. Restrooms and a water fountain are a stone’s throw from the equipment. Benches and picnic tables give moms and dads a place to watch the action. There’s also a paved walking trail that circles the park, making it easy to get strollers from the parking lot to the playground. The Mountain Park branch of the Gwinnett Public Library is next door, perfect for scheduling a longer outing.

Directions: You’ll find Mountain Park Park playground at 5050 Five Forks Trickum Road in Lilburn. Take Stone Mountain Freeway (Hwy. 78) east to West Park Place. Turn left on Rockbridge Road, then right on Five Forks Trickum Road. After the intersection with Pounds and Garner roads, turn right into the parking lot, just past the library.
