Zoe Levitan of Atlanta peeks out of her playhouse

Just last year, the cardboard box was inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame, and the opportunities that await a box are limited only by your imagination. Small boxes, such as shoeboxes, are perfect for cars and trucks, furniture and theaters for finger puppets. The coveted large boxes can become any number of buildings to play in, vehicles to ride in, dungeons to get trapped in or lemonade stands to make money in. Several boxes of similar or differing sizes can be made into an entire city. Here are a few ideas for your box!
